Questions mums ask

Will this clash with what he's learning at school?

No. It uses the same sounds and the same order schools in England teach. It doesn't replace school phonics; it trains the switch he's stuck at.

What age is it for?

Children aged 5 to 10, from Reception to Year 5, who know most of their letter sounds but aren't reading the way they should yet.

How long does it take each night?

About 12 minutes, always in the same four steps.

Is it for dyslexia?

No. Blink Reading is a home reading programme, not a dyslexia treatment. If you're worried about dyslexia, speak to his teacher or the school's SENCo.

Do I need to print everything?

No. Print one sheet a night, or use the files on a tablet. The Blink Window works best printed on card.
